WHAT IS FAT CAVITATION?
Using the latest aesthetic treatment and technology, fat cavitation uses the most advanced technology to convert fat cells into liquid. It is then eliminated naturally, by the body’s own natural lymphatic system, this process is very effective at eliminating liquids. One fat cavitation session lasts 45-60 minutes where a single part of the body is treated. A second treatment is to be performed after 72 hours have passed. This allows time for the body to eliminate fat. Approximately 6 sessions ( sometimes 8) is needed for each treatment area.

WHAT IS RADIOFREQUENCY – RF?
Radiofrequency (RF) energy is a new non-surgical tightening of the skin. RF skin tightening is used to treat sagging /aging skin and treats skin laxity and best suited to patients with mild to moderate sagging skin. It is can be used to treat :
- forehead
- under the eyes
- cheeks
- mid-face
- jawline
- Neck
It can also be used amongst ultrasound cavitation to assist in further fat breakdown and to tighten the skin.

WHICH AREAS CAN EFFECTIVELY BE TREATED?
-thighs
- abdomen and buttocks
- calves
- arms
These are the most appropriate but there is no real limitation as to areas of the body.
IS THIS A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM?
Cavitation is not a method to lose weight but to reshape the body.
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS :
– Ultrasound Cavitation: 6 – 10 treatments spaced one week apart
– Skin Tightening: 6 – 10 treatments spaced one week apart
HOW DOES ULTRASOUND CAVITATION WORK?
A specially held handpiece will be manually applied and will transmit specific ultrasonic waves which consist of compression- expansion impulses. This back and forth motion then causes micro-bubbles that gradually enlarge producing shock waves that cause the elimination of fat tissues (these phenomena are called “cavitation”). The fat cells then convert to liquid. The liquid is then easily vacuumed out from the body using the lymphatic system.

WHAT CAN BE TREATED WITH CAVITATION?

- Cellulite reduction
- Body contouring
- Skin tightening

AM I A CANDIDATE FOR ULTRASOUND AND RF?
People with cardiac and vascular diseases, pacemaker carriers and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid undergoing the procedure. It is a fairly safe treatment for anybody else

IS ULTRASOUND CAVITATION PAINFUL?
Cavitation is a painless treatment. You may notice slight pink/redness after the treatment but will be highly unlikely to cause any actual pain. The heat from the handpieces felt during the treatment is perfectly tolerable.

IS IT SAFE?
Yes, it is a non-invasive procedure (this means no cutting, leaves no scars or the need for any post-operative course) and no downtime should be experienced after the treatment
